Our commitment to you

At Fundación Luan we believe that transparency is not an option — it is a moral obligation to those who support us and to the community. That's why we annually publish detailed information on how funds received are used.

Where your donation goes

Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation 60%

Covers rehabilitation center costs: food, medications, veterinary care, equipment, emergency transport, and specialized staff.

Environmental education 20%

Funds school workshops, educational materials, guided center visits, programs with Mapuche communities, and awareness activities.

Research and monitoring 15%

Sustains the camera trap program, GPS telemetry, laboratory analyses, scientific publications, and conference participation.

Administration and communication 5%

Covers minimum operating costs: accounting, digital communications, website, and basic foundation management.

Legal structure and governance

Fundación Luan is legally constituted as a non-profit legal entity in Chile, under supervision of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights. Our bylaws, board minutes, and annual financial statements are available for review.

We have a five-person board elected annually, an external audit committee, and an annual financial audit conducted by an external public accountant.
